Os membros do After Edmund formada como uma banda em 2001, originalmente com o nome Taken . ^[ 1 ] Durante esse tempo, eles tiveram cinco independentes lançamentos: Not the Typical EP (2002), Moonlight E-CD Single and ARE You Listening? in 2003, and Amplified EP (2004).^[2] The SA BA DE EP in 2005, foi da versão final independente Tomado antes de a banda mudou seu nome para After Edmund. ^[ 2 ] O nome é uma referência ao personagem Edmund Pevensie na série de livros As Crônicas de Nárnia por CS Lewis .
